We can describe our work all day, but nothing settles a homeowner’s mind like seeing the change with their own eyes. Around Jacksonville, windows take a beating from salt air, humidity, and summer storms. The photos below show what our crews actually deal with: fogged glass, frames swollen shut, rot at the sills, and doors that stick every August. Here is what a replacement really looks like when the old unit comes out and a new one goes in.

Fogged Double Pane Replacement in Mandarin
Before
AfterThe homeowner had a double pane window that had failed years earlier. Moisture sat between the glass, turning the view of the St. Johns River into a blur. We pulled the sash, confirmed the seal failure, and measured for a new PGT insulated unit to match the existing frame profile. The new glass went in during one afternoon visit. Now the river view is sharp again, and the window actually insulates the way it was supposed to when the house was built.
Rot-Repair Sill Replacement in Riverside
Before
AfterRiverside homes are beautiful, and they are also old enough that untreated wood sills eventually give out. This one had a sill so soft you could push a screwdriver into it. Our crew cut the rot back to solid wood, rebuilt the sill with pressure-treated stock, flashed it, and set a new CWS window on top. The homeowner had been painting over the problem for years. Now there is nothing left to hide, because there is nothing left to rot.
Drafty Single-Pane to Hurricane-Rated Units in Arlington
Before
AfterThis Arlington home still had original single-pane aluminum windows. In July, the glass was hot to the touch. In January, the living room never really warmed up. The homeowner wanted something that would stand up to a named storm without needing shutters. We installed CGI hurricane-rated units throughout. The difference in sound alone surprised them: the street noise from Atlantic Boulevard dropped to almost nothing the first night.
Sticking Patio Door Replaced in Julington Creek

Some doors fight you every time you open them. This Julington Creek slider had been dragging for years, and the track was so worn the door sat crooked in the frame. We removed the old door, inspected the rough opening, and set a new Therma-Tru slider on a fresh, level track. The homeowner told us her grandkids now open it with one finger. It took a morning to fix something the family had been wrestling for six years.
Bedroom Windows That Woke Up the Kids in San Marco

San Marco streets are charming and busy. This family’s nursery faced the road, and every passing truck ended nap time early. The old windows were thin, single-pane units from a 1980s renovation. We replaced them with ECO Window Systems double panes with laminated glass. The room still gets the same morning light, but the noise dropped enough that the kids now sleep through rush hour. Quiet tools were used during the install so no nap was interrupted by the work itself.
Faded Front Door Replacement in Ortega

Ten years of western exposure had bleached this Ortega front door from a deep red to something closer to salmon. The frame was fine, but the door skin itself was chalky to the touch. We installed a new ViewLux entry door with proper weather stripping and a fresh threshold. The new door seals tighter than the old one ever did, and the color will hold far longer thanks to the factory finish. Curb appeal is nice, but the real win is the draft that disappeared from the foyer.
